With over 4 years of experience in the software industry, Subash has worked for both product-based MNCs and startups, where he has contributed to the growth of the companies. Currently, Subash is working at Fivetran, where he is responsible for data integration, databases, REST/SOAP APIs, and building new features for the company's data pipeline. He is proficient in Java, C, C++, AWS, Google Cloud Services, and different warehouses such as Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Snowflake, and Redshift. Subash is always looking for challenging tasks and opportunities to learn new things. He is known for his problem-solving skills and his ability to make everything work smoothly. Recently, he took up a new challenge to manage a team, which taught him valuable lessons for his professional career. At Fivetran, Subash is leading a team of 10 members, designing and implementing core features, onboarding and training new team members, ensuring delegated projects are making progress, conducting hiring interviews, and mentoring junior developers. He is also responsible for strategic planning for milestones, quarter, and future goals, maintaining best coding practices, and conducting code reviews for major aspects of the code base. Subash's past experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Fivetran, where he led a team of 7 members and implemented core features, released and improved connectors, conducted hiring interviews, mentored junior developers, and was responsible for project delivery. Subash holds a Dual Degree (B.Tech and M.Tech in 5 years) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, as well as a Higher Secondary School degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sarang. He is proficient in SQL, AWS, Backend, Snowflake, Data Warehouse, Java, Azure, Integration, and Research Scientist.
